Disclaimer
LoanToolsHub publishes calculators and educational articles to help you explore numbers and concepts. This page explains important limits: we are not your lender, advisor, or agent, and you should always verify material terms with qualified professionals and official disclosures.
Scope
This disclaimer applies to LoanToolsHub ("we", "us", "our") including the website at loantoolshub.com, its pages, calculators, guides, and any related content we provide. By using the site, you acknowledge this disclaimer. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
Not professional advice
Nothing on LoanToolsHub is a recommendation to borrow, repay, invest, refinance, consolidate, file taxes, or take any specific action. We do not review your credit, income, debts, goals, or risk tolerance. For decisions that could significantly affect your finances or legal position, consult licensed professionals who can consider your full situation.
Calculators & estimates
Our calculators use standard formulas and assumptions you provide or that we display as defaults. In practice:
- Real loans may include fees, points, prepaid interest, per-diem interest, and other items not modeled;
- Schedules can differ based on how a lender applies payments, holidays, rounding, or billing cycles;
- Variable-rate products, balloon payments, interest-only periods, and non-standard structures may not match a simplified tool;
- Tax, insurance, escrow, and government charges may change over time and vary by location.
Treat every output as a starting point for learning and comparison—not a promise of what you will pay or owe.
Rates, APR & loan terms
Marketing rates, "as low as" offers, and online calculators from lenders may use different assumptions than ours. APR disclosures can include fees and charges in ways that differ from a simple interest rate input field. Always rely on your official loan estimate, truth-in-lending disclosures, promissory note, and statements from your lender—not a third-party educational website.
Third-party sites & advertising
We may link to external resources or display advertisements. We do not control third-party sites, products, or ad networks. Links are not endorsements unless we clearly say otherwise. Third-party terms, privacy practices, and accuracy of their content are solely their responsibility.
No lender relationship
LoanToolsHub is not a bank, credit union, mortgage broker, debt relief company, or lender. We do not make credit decisions, originate loans, or negotiate on your behalf. Any mention of loan types or strategies is generic education and not an offer of credit.
No warranties
The site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LoanToolsHub and its owners, operators, contributors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, or data, arising out of or related to your use of the site—even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the site will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us to use the site in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty US dollars (USD $50). Because the calculators are free, (a) may be zero.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.
Your responsibility
You agree that you are solely responsible for how you use the site and any decisions you make based on it.
- Verify numbers, assumptions, and eligibility requirements with your lender or servicer;
- Read disclosures and contracts before signing;
- Maintain backups of important documents and records;
- Do not rely on the site as a substitute for timely payments, legal notices, or regulatory filings.
Changes
We may update this disclaimer from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated disclaimer.
